what is the bois d' arc bash?
The Bois d’ Arc Bash has been a Commerce tradition for generations, bringing together friends, families, alumni, and visitors to celebrate everything that makes our community special. As the Bois d’ Arc Capital of Texas, Commerce proudly embraces the tree that has long been a symbol of our area's heritage and identity, and it's the inspiration behind the festival's name.
This year, we're building on that tradition by bringing back some of the classic elements people have loved over the years while introducing new attractions, entertainment, and experiences for a new generation of Bash-goers. Whether you've attended every year or are planning your first visit, you'll find the same hometown spirit that has made the Bois d’ Arc Bash a community favorite, along with plenty of new reasons to make memories in downtown Commerce.

We need volunteers to help with different areas at the Bois d'Arc Bash. If you have some time either Friday evening or on Saturday, consider signing up to help out! You can scroll through and choose when and where you would like to help. Let's work together to make our 40th Annual Bash the best one yet!
want to be a vendor?
The Bois d’ Arc Bash is one of the largest annual events in Commerce, drawing thousands of residents, alumni, students, and visitors downtown for a full day of food, shopping, entertainment, and family fun. Vendor spaces for the 2026 Bois d’ Arc Bash are currently FULL, and we are now accepting applications for our vendor waitlist only. Small businesses, artisans, nonprofits, food vendors, and others are welcome to join the waitlist and may be contacted if additional space becomes available or a confirmed vendor is unable to attend. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee a vendor space.
